Characteristics

Leaf 200–300 mm long; free part 25–35 mm long, ending below flowers. Spike 50–90 mm long, 15–35-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, semi-nodding, 6 × 4 mm, greenish brown with reddish stripes. Dorsal sepal 4.5 × 2 mm, with reddish bands; margins glabrous; apex sharply pointed. Lateral sepals erect, parallel, 5 × 1.2 mm; apex with whitish gland. Petals 3.5 × 1 mm, with reddish bands; margins glabrous; apex sharply pointed. Labellum stiffly hinged, elliptical when flattened, 2.8 × 1.5 mm, dark purplish black, thick, fleshy, base abruptly recurved; margins with sparse coarse hairs to 0.4 mm long; apex recurved. Callus thickest and broadest near base then tapered, extending nearly to labellum apex.
