Characteristics

Prostrate herb with short lateral stems, hairy, hairs sessile to shortly stipitate, branched. Basal leaves in a rosette, pinnatifid with c. 15 pairs of lobes, petiolate; lobes linear to dentate; cauline leaves crowded, similar to basal leaves. Fruit linear to attenuate, 3–15 mm long, 1–3 mm wide; valves flattened parallel to septum; pedicels horizontal to descending, c. 2 cm in flower elongating to c. 4 cm in fruit, often burying fruit in soil; buried fruit often misshapen.
