Inflorescence 2-flowered (rarely 1-flowered by reduction); peduncle 1–9 cm. long, pilose with small glands on the ends of the hairs; pedicels 1–4 cm. long, pilose with small glands on the ends of the hairs; bracts 3–4 mm. long, very narrowly lanceolate, pilose.
Perennial herb, prostrate and straggling; stems longitudinally furrowed, pilose with spreading glandular hairs.
Sepals 5–6 × 2–2·5 mm., elliptic-lanceolate, cuspidate (the tip 1 mm. long), 3-nerved, glandular.
Cocci smooth, pilose; mature rostrum 14–16 × 1 mm., glandular; stigmas 2 mm. long.
Petals about 8–9 × 4 mm., obovate, white or nearly white with pink veins.
Seeds glabrous; testa covered with a shallow reticulate network.
Stamens 10, filaments 5 mm. long, narrowly lanceolate.
Ovary pubescent; stigmas 5.
