Givotia moluccana (L.) Sreem.

A tree. It grows 20 m tall. The bark is brown and smooth and peels off in thick scales. The leaf stalks are 8-12 cm long and stout. The leaves are alternate and broadly oval. They are 6-18 cm long by 5-20 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. They have a white coating underneath. The flowers are in hanging groups near the ends of the branches. The fruit is fleshy and 2.5 cm across. There are 3 oblong seeds with a hard coat.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in dry deciduous forests. It grows between 400-900 m above sea level.
