Leaf solitary on each shoot, subtended by linear cataphyll ± reaching middle of petiole; petiole terete, 6.5–10 cm. long, 1–1.5 mm. in diameter, erect to spreading, green; pulvinus basal, oblong, 1–1.5 cm. long, 0.4 cm. in diameter; blade bipinnately compound, cordate-sagittate in outline, 10–11 cm. long, 9–10 cm. broad; pinnae opposite, pinnately lobed; ultimate lobes linear-lanceolate to oblanceolate-elliptic, 1–7.5 cm. long, 0.2–2 cm. broad, acute to subacute, cuneate, decurrent, green, slightly paler beneath.. Inflorescence solitary, sessile at soil-surface; peduncle 1 cm. long or less, 0.3 cm. in diameter, subterranean, subtended by 3–5 ovate-oblong cataphylls 0.3–2 cm. long..
