beneath, papillate above, the faucal annulus an inconspicuous 5-angled, puberulent ridge; anther appendages thick, subquadrate, broadly retuse apically, ca. 0.3 mm long and 0.5 mm wide; the corona 5-lobed, the lobes subquadrate, crenulate at the margins; gynostegium pentagonal; stigma head deeply depressed. Follicles + fusiform, long acuminate, winged dorsally and ventrally, the wings extending the full length of the fruit, 7.5 cm long, 0.5 cm in diameter (immature).
