Characteristics

Liane, rusty-pubescent. Leaves ± discolorous, pubescent; lamina broadly ovate, (52–) 60–95 (–120) mm long, (30–) 50–80 (–90) mm wide, base cordate, margin finely serrulate especially towards the acuminate apex; petiole 10–20 mm long; stipules narrowly triangular, 2.2–4.5 mm long. Pseudoracemes stout, clustered at the branch-ends; axes and flowers densely pubescent or pilose. Pedicels 0.2–1 mm long. Hypanthium 1.3–2.2 mm diam. Sepals 0.9–1.1 mm long. Petals 0.9–1.1 mm long. Stamens 0.8–1.1 mm long. Disc margin with broad, obtuse, emarginate lobes adjacent to the sepals. Style 0.4–1 mm long, branched. Fruit brown, 2.6–4 mm long; wings 1.6–3.2 mm wide. Seeds 1.7–1.9 mm long, brown or reddish brown.
