Characteristics

Rhizome shortly creeping, set with deltate-acuminate, membranous, brown rhizome-scales c. 2 mm long. Fronds closely spaced, sessile; lamina rounded-oblong, tapering to the base, c. 35 x 4 mm, glabrous above, set with scattered tubular, sometimes branched, unicellular to multicellular scales below, becoming glabrous with age; venation obscure, midrib convex below. Sori elongate, up to 2.5 mm long, set in a line on either side of midrib, each at an angle of c. 20o to midrib.
