Erect shrub to 1.5 m high. Leaves with petiole to 2 cm long; lamina lanceolate to elliptic, to 11.5 cm long, to 2 cm wide, cuneate at base, acute at apex, concolorous. Inflorescence of 1–3 fascicles. Flowers 9–15 mm long, 5–15 mm wide; pedicels 6–7 mm long. Corolla cream to yellow-green; tube 4–9 mm long, 3–4 mm diam.; lobes lanceolate-ovate to ovate, 6–7.5 mm long, 4–5.5 mm wide. Corona lobes subulate, c. 1 mm long, 2–2.4 mm wide, cusped or toothed. Follicles 6–7.5 cm long. Seeds narrowly oblong, c. 5 mm long.
