Characteristics

Vine. Leaves with petiole 2–12 mm long; lamina fleshy, ovate, obovate, or rhomboidal, 3–9.5 cm long, 2–5 cm wide, cordate at base, acute, glabrous; venation obscurely subparallel, not distinctly 3-veined at base; colleters 4. Inflorescence umbelliform. Flowers 3–4 mm long, 12–13 mm diam.; pedicels 16–18 mm long. Corolla rotate, fleshy pale pink to white; lobes triangular, 4–5 mm long, c. 5 mm wide, pilose on upper surface. Staminal corona lobes oblong-linear, c. 3 mm long, 1–1.5 mm wide, pale pink. Pollinia with pellucid margins. Follicles fusiform, 7–14 cm long.
