Characteristics

Subshrubs. Stems climbing, to 2 m, yellowish gray. Petiole ca. 5 mm, stout, puberulent, with a group of 3-5 adaxial glands; leaf blade ovate or oblong-ovate, 5-9 × 4.5-5 cm, thick leathery when dry, adaxially glabrous, abaxially puberulent along midvein, base minutely cordate, apex acute to obtuse; lateral veins 6-8 pairs. Pseudumbels extra-axillary, hemispherical, 30-50-flowered; peduncle 1-1.5 cm. Pedicel 2.5-3 cm. Sepals ca. 2 mm. Corolla white, rotate, ca. 1 cm in diam., puberulent; lobes triangular, obtuse, ca. 2.5 mm. Corona lobes with outer angle acute. Fl. May.
