Characteristics

Leaves paripinnate: stipules 7–16 × 1.5–4 mm, caducous; leaflets coriaceous, in 1–2 pairs, if 2 the apical pair larger, (14)30–98 × (4)8–26 mm, narrowly elliptic to narrowly ovate, asymmetric, often somewhat falcate, rounded at the base, obtuse to rounded at the apex, glabrous.

Pod 6–11 × 3.6–5.1 cm, obovate, with a strong lateral ridged nerve just above the middle, the rest of the surface reticulate at maturity, puberulous to velvety, 1–3-seeded.
Inflorescences paniculate, 1.5–12 cm long, with 2–10 lateral branches; bracts early caducous; bracteoles 3.5–4.4 × 2.3–3.4 mm, circular to obovate, pubescent.
Stamens 6–8; filaments 6–8 mm long, fused for 0.1–0.3 mm at the base.
Seeds 2.5–2.8 × 2–2.3 cm, elliptic in outline.
Ovary (1)2(3)-ovulate; style 5–7 mm long.
