Leaf-blade ovate to oblong-ovate, 7.0–11.0 cm. long, 3–7 cm. wide, shortly acuminate to subacute, rounded at base, sometimes unequal-sided, paper-like, glabrous, glossy green above, glabrous to sparsely pubescent beneath with tufts of yellow-brown hairs at the junctions of the secondary veins and midrib; midrib impressed above, prominent beneath; secondary veins prominent beneath; petiole 6–10 mm. long..
