Characteristics

Annual herb to 1 m tall, spreading to erect, glabrous. Basal leaves unknown; cauline leaves linear-lanceolate to elliptic, petiolate, dentate to serrate. Inflorescence elongate raceme. Sepals 2–2.5 mm long, somewhat petaloid. Petals 3–4 mm long, white. Style 0.75–1.75 mm long. Siliqua linear, 5–20 mm long, 0.7–1 mm wide; curved, ascending; valves convex; pedicels 6–10 mm long, spreading to slightly reflexed. Seeds oblong-ovoid, 0.7–1 mm long, in l row per locule, sticky (scarcely mucous) when wet.
