Nut: large; ovoid; kernel averages 54% of nut, large, plump, light tan, flavor good, quality high; shell seal fair but adequate; ripens early; resembles Payne. Tree: small; early bearing; leafs out early, 4 days after Payne; fruitfulness on lateral buds 90% or more; extremely heavy yielding; chilling requirement medium; pollen shedding overlaps pistillate bloom; needs consistent pruning; often planted as filler trees.
