Origin: in Yuba City. Calif., by C.E. Sullivan. Introd. in 1957. Plant patent 1476; 8 May 1956; assigned to Sierra Gold Nurseries, Yuba City. Open-pollinated seedling of Payne; selected in 1948. Nut: bijou-type; low kernel percent; very large; good quality, little blight or sunburn; ripens about with Payne. An excellent home garden and novelty variety. Tree: protogynous; precocious; leafs out with Payne; productive. Fruit:
