Leaves 2, lanceolate to strap-shaped, 15-20 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, glabrous, spotted adaxially. Raceme to 30 cm long; rachis straight; pedicels to 5 mm long. Flowers pendulous, cylindrical, slightly zygomorphic; lower flowers usually exserted beyond leaf bases. Perianth 2-3 cm long, orange or yellow with green or red tip; inner segments up to twice as long as outer segments. Stamens included. Style ultimately exserted.
