Characteristics

Perennial small shrub, glabrous; stems weak, climbing, to 60 cm long, ridged, not papillose. Leaves linear, acute, to 70 mm long and 4 mm wide, petiolate, pendent; margins slightly papillose; midrib prominent on adaxial surface. Inflorescence an elongated raceme. Sepals 4 mm long. Petals obovate, to 6 mm long, clawed, cucullate at base, white to pink. Stamens 6. Style up to 3 mm long, rarely exserted. Silicula dehiscent, ovate, 7–8.5 mm long, 5–6 mm wide; wings triangular, acute, forming broad apical notch approximately ¼ length of fruit; pedicels 7–10 mm long, semi-erect, spreading or pendent. Seeds c. 2.5 mm long; cotyledons diplecolobous.
