Characteristics

Annual herb, rarely a perennial small shrub, papillose, the papillae large and scale-like; stems decumbent to erect. Leaves oblanceolate, acute to acuminate, to 3 cm long and 1 cm wide, succulent, shortly petiolate. Inflorescence a terminal corymb expanding to a raceme. Sepals to 3 mm long. Petals to 4 mm long, white to pink. Stamens 6. Style c. 1.5 mm long, exserted. Silicula ovate, c. 5 mm long, c. 4 mm wide, papillose; wing acute, the notch narrow, forming one-fifth of fruit length; pedicels curved, spreading to horizontal, papillose, up to more than twice fruit length. Seeds c. 2.5 mm long, c. 1.5 mm wide; radicle incumbent.
