Annual herb 20–30 cm high, rarely more, erect; hairs restricted to leaf axils, basal leaves and margins of cauline leaves. Basal leaves bipinnatifid. Cauline leaves reducing to subulate-lanceolate, entire, sessile, auriculate. Inflorescence a very elongated raceme. Sepals 0.5–0.75 mm long. Petals reduced, linear, or absent. Stamens 2, median. Stigma sessile. Silicula elliptic to obovate, 2–2.5 mm long, 1.5–2 mm wide, wing slight in upper half, forming a small apical notch; pedicels 3–5 mm long, glabrous, erect to spreading. Seeds c. 1.25 mm long; radicle incumbent.
