Leaf-blade oblong-elliptic to oblanceolate, 6–15 cm. long, 2–6 cm. wide, acuminate with a somewhat rounded apex, cuneate, glabrous, ± coriaceous, with the midrib impressed above, prominent beneath, and with 5–7 pairs of secondary veins, conspicuous and prominent beneath, arcuate and anastomosing before leaf-margin; petiole up to 1.5 cm. long, glabrous.. Flowers many, in sessile or subsessile, axillary or extraxillary cymes, fragrant; peduncle up to 3 mm. long; bracts small, lanceolate or deltoid; pedicels 2–4 mm. long, articulated near the apex..
