Spikelets 3(4)-flowered, 2.2–2.6(3.2) mm long, elliptic-oblong, overlapping; glumes unequal, the inferior 0.7–0.8 mm long, ovate, acute, the superior 1–1.6 mm long, elliptic, obtuse; lemmas 1.5–1.7 mm long, broadly elliptic, keeled, long-pilose on the nerves below, scabrid above, shallowly and bluntly 2-toothed at the apex.
