Characteristics

Planta suffruticosa, glabra. Rami prostrati, ± ramosi, tenues, juniores albi-virides; innovationes nume-rosae, breves, pauci-et parvifoliatae in axillis foliorum. Folia alterna, lanceolata, acuminata, basi angustata, subpetiolata, 0.3-1.0 cm longa, 1-3 mm lata, subtus nervo medio manifeste prominulo, marginibus subrevolutis. Inflorescentiae pluri-usque ad multiflorae, terminales et pseudolaterales, laxiramosae (i.e. inflorescentiae partiales 0.5-1 cm longum pedunculatae); pedunculi 0.5-1.5 cm longi. Bracteae et bracteolae minutae, ovatae, acuminatae, margine albi-membranaceae, cr. 1 mm longae. Pedicelli 2.5-3 mm longi. Tepala late ovata, apice rotundata, mucronulata, margine albi-membranacea et in medio viridia, cr. 3 mm longa et 1.5-2.5 mm lata. Stamina libera; filamenta basi dilatata et ciliati-barbata. Staminodia staminibus parce longiora, unguiculata. Ovarium subglobosum, subglabrum. Mericarpia hemisphaerici-reniformia, subfusca, cr. 2.5 mm diametientia; testa reticulati-scrobiculata.
