Leaves aromatic, opposite; blades elliptic to lanceolate, 1.5–5 cm. long, 1–1.7 cm. wide, obtuse at apex or subacute and mucronulate, very narrowly cuneate at the base, densely glandular and with sparse white hairs, almost lobulate-crenate, the lobules 2.5–3 mm. long; petiole ± obsolete or 2–4 mm. long.. Heads small, 1–3 per node, globose, at first 4–5 mm. long, later up to 10 × 6 mm., the fruiting axis usually 1 cm. long; peduncle 2.5–6 cm. long, glabrous; bracts rounded-elliptic, 1.5–2 mm. long, 1 mm. wide, densely adpressed pubescent..
