Cultivation

Named in Australia, probably a variant of Kwai mi. Other names: Kwai may pink, Kwai mi pink (Australia). Season: mid-June to early July (Northern Hemisphere). Origin: Tree: moderately vigorous and distinctively upright. A consistent bearer in a wide range of climates. Fruit: almost round or spherical, 15 to 28 g, yellow-pink to orange-red at harvest, thick peel with sharp-pointed protuberance, suture not obvious. Flesh: firm, sweet, edible portion 65% to 82%.
