Characteristics

Dwarf, obconical, succulent plant. Leaf-pair closely set, ± kidney-shaped from above, parted by a fairly deep fissure, upper surfaces usually convex, smooth, densely covered with dusky dots on an earth-coloured background. Flower yellow, sometimes with a white centre, rarely pure white.
