Characteristics

Often robust, woody, silvery haired shrub, up to 0.6-1.2 m tall. Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets linear to obovate, glabrous or sparsely hairy above. Flowers few, on a long slender peduncle, yellow, with standard conspicuously dark-veined, calyx with upper and lateral lobes fused high up. Pod ovoid to broadly oblong, much inflated, upper suture ± warty.
