Characteristics

Closely silky; leaflets cuneate, apiculate; heads of flowers dense, the ovate or oblong bracts longer than the very villous calyx; all the petals villous, of nearly equal length; legume densely villous. A slender, virgate shrub, the branches ramuliferous near the ends; every part fulvous with closely-appressed, short, silky hairs. Petiole 1-2 lines; leaflets 3-4 lines long. Stipules leaflike, 1.5 as long as the petiole. Bracts 2 lines long, often equally broad.
