Characteristics

Annual herb, up to 250 mm high; procumbent; silky. Leaves trifoliolate with small, obovate leaflets; basal leaves opposite; stipules single at each node, small. Flowers: solitary, opposite leaves, subsessile; bracteoles 0; calyx silky; keel acute or somewhat beaked, glabrous; corolla yellow; Aug.-Oct. Pods turgid, slightly curved, silky.
