Characteristics

Prostrate annual, 0.3-0.5 m across, minutely but conspicuously silky-haired (except petals). Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets obovate, with notched apex. Flowers 2-12, on a short peduncle, yellow or white, fading pink, calyx with lowermost lobe much narrower than others, standard hairy on back, keel beaked. Pod shortly oblong to obovoid, slightly longer than calyx, slightly inflated.
