Cultivation

Intermediate to large, high-yielding tree producing attractive kernels. Origin: Hidden Valley Plantations, Beerwah, Queensland, by H. Bell and D. Bell. Kau O.P.; selected 1981; introd. 1997. Nut: bearing habit mainly in singles; large; round; intermediate flecking, very small micropyle and slightly rough surface; kernel recovery intermediate; kernel full, creamy white. Tree: intermediate to large; spreading; canopy intermediate to open; leaves long, 20-25 cm, with pointed apex, margins spiny, undulating towards apex, short petiole; flowering midseason, condensed.
