Origin: in the Nutridge Orchard, Oahu, Hawaii, by W.B. Storey, Hawaii Agr. Expt. Sta., Honolulu. Introd. in 1951. Openpollinated seedling of Macadamia integrifolia; selected in 1934; tested as Hawaii A.E.S. 44 and HAES 475. Nut: size medium, averaging about 60-68 per lb; shell smooth; kernel percentage high, 37% to 42%; resembles Keauhou. Tree: bears heavily; comes into bearing at an early age; vigorous. Fruit:
