Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets sparsely white appressed pubescent on both surfaces, more densely so on midvein and margin and densely covered with black gland dots; terminal leaflet 1.5–4.5 × 0.8–2 cm, narrowly elliptic or narrowly ovate; lateral leaflets 1.5–3.8 × 0.8–1.6 cm long, narrowly ovate to ovate; petiole 2.1–5.2 cm long; rhachis 1–3 mm long; petiolules 1–3 mm long; stipules 7–10 × 4–6 mm, ovate, up to 15-striate; stipels 2–3 mm long, narrowly ovate.
Standard yellow with purple blotch or greenish-cream (Pawek 1079B), 1.6–2 × 1.2–1.4 cm, obovate, auriculate, glabrous, with linear appendages to 6 mm long; wings 12–16 × 2–4 mm, glabrous; keel 14–16 × 4–5 mm, glabrous.
Flowers axillary, in pairs or in 3–4-flowered fascicles; pedicels 3–4 mm long; bracts 6–8 mm long, lanceolate, acuminate, striate; bracetoles 4–6 mm long, narrowly lanceolate, acuminate.
Pods (immature) 3–5.2 cm × 4–6 mm, linear-oblong, densely pubescent, 5–7-seeded; beak 5–10 mm long; valve margins thickened to form a ridge.
Calyx glabrescent; tube 3–4 mm long; lobes 6–8 mm long, lanceolate, acuminate, the upper pair fused for two-thirds of their length.
Prostrate herb up to 1 m long, arising from a perennial fibrous and tuberous rootstock.
Ovary up to 10 mm long, fusiform, densely appressed pubescent; style to 8 mm long.
Stems annual, slightly flexuous, with rather long tangled white hairs.
Seeds reddish-brown, 4 × 2 × 1 mm.
Only one fruiting collection seen.
