Plants acaulescent, rarely caulescent; stem 0-0.3 m tall, 20-30 cm diam.; 15-20 leaves in crown. Leaves 100-150 cm long, flat (not keeled) in section, with (48-) 52-58 (-66) pinnae, mid-green, semi-glossy to highly glossy; petiole 40-50 cm long, 4-5 mm wide at lowest pinna.
