Characteristics

Woody vine; latex white. Roots fibrous. Indumentum yellow. Leaves with petiole 10–20 mm long; lamina narrowly oblong to oblong, to 10.5 cm long, to 4 cm wide, cuneate to rounded at base, acute to obtuse, with dense trichomes below, not triveined at base; venation obscure below; colleters 2 or 3. Inflorescences of 1–several umbelliform fascicles. Flowers c. 4 mm long, 2–3 mm diam.; pedicels 2–4 mm long. Corolla campanulate, cream; tube 0.7–1 mm long, c. 1.5 mm diam.; lobes lanceolate-ovate, c. 1.5 mm long, 1.7–1.8 mm wide, glabrous internally. Corolline corona absent. Staminal corona of 5 triangular lobes shorter than staminal column, entire, adnate at base; lobes c. 0.5 mm long, c. 0.5 mm wide. Anther appendages truncate-ovate. Style-head conical-globose. Pollinia oblong, c. 0.2 mm long. Follicles fusiform, 4.5–8 cm long.
