Woody vine; latex white. Roots fibrous. Indumentum colourless. Leaves with petiole 2–11 mm long; lamina elliptic-oblong to obovate, to 7 cm long, to 3.2 cm wide, cuneate or rounded at base, acuminate or apiculate, with sparse to dense trichomes below, not triveined at base; venation prominent below; colleters 2–6. Inflorescences of 1 or 2 umbelliform fascicles. Flowers 2.5–3 mm long, 2–2.5 mm diam.; pedicels 2–4 mm long. Corolla urceolate, cream; tube 1.5–2 mm long, 1–1.5 mm diam.; lobes ovate, c. 1 mm long, 0.7–0.8 mm wide, glabrous. Corolline corona absent. Staminal corona of 5 cupular lobes shorter than staminal column, entire, adnate at base; lobes c. 0.5 mm long, c. 0.75 mm wide. Anther appendages lanceolate-triangular. Style-head conical-globose. Pollinia oblong, 0.2–0.26 mm long. Follicles fusiform, 4–5 cm long.
