Herbaceous vine; latex white. Roots tuberous. Indumentum colourless. Leaves with petiole 10–15 mm long; lamina lanceolate-ovate to ovate, to 8 cm long, to 3 cm wide, cordate, rounded or truncate at base, acute to acuminate, with sparse to dense trichomes below, not triveined at base; venation prominent below; colleters 2–4. Inflorescences umbelliform. Flowers 4.5–5 mm long, 3.8–4.5 mm diam.; pedicels 3–10 mm long. Corolla urceolate, yellow to yellow-green; tube 3–4 mm long, c. 4 mm diam.; lobes triangular-ovate to oblong-ovate, 1.6–2 mm long, 1–1.5 mm wide, internally glabrous. Corolline corona absent. Staminal corona of 5 ovate, peltate lobes shorter than staminal column, entire; lobes 0.8–1 mm long, c. 1 mm wide. Anther appendages truncate-ovate to triangular-lanceolate. Style-head depressed-globose. Pollinia oblong, 0.25–0.4 mm long. Follicles fusiform-ovoid, 6–7.5 cm long.
