Characteristics

Woody vine; latex white. Roots fibrous. Indumentum colourless. Leaves with petiole 6–8 mm long; lamina elliptic to ovate, to 7 cm long, to 3.5 cm wide, weakly cuneate to rounded at base, acute to shortly acuminate, glabrous or with scattered to sparse trichomes below, not triveined at base; venation prominent below; colleters 2–4. Inflorescences umbelliform. Flowers 2–3 mm long, 3–4 mm diam.; pedicels 2.7–5 mm long. Corolla campanulate, cream to cream-yellow; tube 1–2 mm long, 2–3 mm diam.; lobes lanceolate-ovate to triangular, 1.2–1.6 mm long, 1–1.2 mm wide, internally glabrous. Corolline corona comprising 5 ridges, each terminating in an apical lobe arching over staminal column. Staminal corona of 5 oblong lobes shorter than staminal column, entire, adnate at base; lobes c. 0.5 mm long, 0.2–0.3 mm wide. Anther appendages lanceolate-ovate to obtuse. Style-head depressed-globose. Pollinia oblong, 0.17–0.22 mm long. Follicles fusiform, 5–6 cm long.
