Lvs close-set, rosulate, 2-7·5 cm. long, including short petiole, obovate-spathulate, obtuse, membr., entire or irregularly sinuate-toothed, glab. or sparsely hairy. Peduncles slender, us. > lvs, 1-6-fld; pedicels long, each with a setaceous bract. Calyx narrow-campanulate; lobes narrow, acute. Corolla c. 3 × calyx, ± 6-12 mm. long, white or occ. blue, throat yellow; tube > calyx, lobes broad, obtuse. Capsule included in persistent calyx.
