Characteristics

Young branches finely sericeous or densely so. Leaves narrowly elliptic to elliptic or narrowly ovate to ovate, 1/b-ratio 2.2-3.7(-4.1). Inflorescence-axes glandular puberulous from short non-capitate glands and larger capitate glands and ± scattered long non-glandular hairs; corolla-tube 9-13 mm long; capsule puberulous or sparsely so all over or apically only (at least always on apical peg); seed 5-6 x 4-5 mm.
