Characteristics

Small tree up to 13 m, girth of the stem up to 45 cm; bark smooth, grey; wood white. Leaves lanceolate, elliptic or slightly obovate, 8-15 by 2.3-4.5 cm; apex shortly acuminate; base cuneate-attenuate; petiole 2-5 mm long. Flowers not seen (according to KEP 80403 the inflorescences are attached to the stem and the flowers are 'apetalous, 4 green sepals, 4 stamens'). Main rachis of the infructescence up to 7 mm ø. Drupe ellipsoid to ± obovoid, 3.5-4 by 2 cm, in herb, dark brown; pedicels 7 mm long.
