Leaves subcylindrical with upper surface somewhat flattened, free from each other, short, often not longer than 5 mm, occasionally with short apical mucro. Flowers in dichasia, 10(-13) mm diam., white or pinkish, filamentous staminodes gathered into a cone. Fruit 4-or 5-locular.
