Characteristics

Perennial, dwarf shrublet, up to 0.2 m high, decumbent or scrambling subshrub. Leaves linear-lanceolate, not imbricate, with 1 main vein, the others branching off, not reaching the margins, bladder cells domed, apex recurved. Flowers solitary, shades of white or pale yellow. Flowering time Nov.-July. Capsules 4-or 5-locular, valve wings present.
