Characteristics

Prostrate or decumbent, succulent, annual herb. Leaves channelled, usually very narrowly obovate, rarely linear, up to 20 mm long, 5 mm diam., epidermal bladder-cells distinct. Flowers in dichasia, up to 15 mm diam., yellow. Fruit 5-locular, valve wings reflexed and fused in pairs.
