Decumbent to erect, succulent shrublet, up to 0.25 m tall, stems with conspicuous internodes, with dome-shaped or warty bladder-cells. Leaves free from each other, without a mucro. Flowers solitary or rarely several together on shorter side shoots, 5-8 mm diam., pale yellow or cream, filamentous staminodes conically arranged. Fruit 5-locular.
