Characteristics

Erect, succulent shrub, up to 500 mm tall, very regularly branched with straight branches, internodes distinctly articulate, smooth. Leaves almost cylindrical or slightly trigonous, free from each other, without an apical mucro. Flowers solitary, terminating long side branches, 25 mm diam., white, filamentous staminodes gathered into a cone. Fruit 5-locular.
