Lamina subcoriaceous to coriaceous, oblong to subobovate, sometimes elliptic or lanceolate, 5–26 × 1.5–9.5 cm., apex acuminate, base acute to obtuse, margin entire or faintly crenate-dentate; upper surface glabrous, lower surface sparsely puberulous, glabrescent; lateral veins 9–14 pairs, tertiary venation mostly reticulate; petiole 0.3–1(–1.5) cm. long; stipules 0.3–1.1 cm. long, caducous.. Staminate inflorescences 2–4 mm. in diameter; peduncle 2–12 mm. long.. Pistillate inflorescences 1–2 mm. in diameter; involucral bracts ± 12–16; stigmas 2.5–4 mm. long..
