Characteristics

Plants leafless, climbing with hook-like roots; stems slender, to 400 mm long and 2 mm in diameter. Inflorescences many, all along the stem, 10-25 mm long, with 8-16 flowers; peduncle 2-3 mm long; bracts triangular, 0.5 mm long. Flowers white and sepals tipped with rust-red; faintly scented; pedicel and ovary 4-5 mm long. Sepals elliptic, obtuse, to 3 mm long and approximately 1.5-1.8 mm wide. Petals linear oblong, to 3 mm long. Lip obscurely 3-lobed, to 3 x 2 mm; spur strongly curved, 4-5 mm long. Gynostemium 2 mm long; stipes and viscidium linear; rostellum short, 2-lobed.
