Characteristics

Flowers c. 6 mm in diameter; sepals and petals white, tinged with salmon-red towards the base and with a salmon-coloured central line; lip white, spur salmon-coloured.

Roots numerous, to 10 cm long, 1.5–3 mm in diameter, smooth, grey, slightly undulating, most clinging to substrate and forming a conical mound.
Dorsal sepal 2.3–5 × 1–3 mm, ovate, acute; lateral sepals similar but oblique, with the lower edge forming a rounded lobe.
Pedicels 2.3–8 mm long, those of the lower flowers longer than those of the upper flowers, giving a capitate effect.
Spur straight, parallel to the ovary, 3–6 mm long, inflated in the apical half.
Inflorescences several, erect, 2.5–3 cm long, densely to c. 15-flowered.
Lip 2.5–5 × 2.3–4 mm, almost orbicular, slightly folded, notched.
Scale leaves to 2.5 mm long, acute to acuminate, c. 3-nerved.
Petals 2–4 × 1–2 mm, oblong, obtuse, apiculate.
