Characteristics

Roots many, crowded, to 9 cm long, 1.5–3 mm in diameter, terete or slightly flattened, rarely branched, spreading radially, most clinging to the substrate and forming a conical tuft.

Dorsal sepal 2.3–4 × 1–2 mm, ovate, acute, recurved at the apex, thickened along the central nerve; lateral sepals similar but slightly asymmetrical.
Lip 3-lobed, 1.9–3.7 × 1.7–2.9 mm; mid-lobe ovate, acute, ± folded; side lobes small, rounded; spur 5.4–6.6 mm, straight, inflated towards apex.
Flowers white, the lip brownish at the base; column brown at the base, dark green in front; anther dark green.
Bracts up to 2.5 mm long, sheathing only at base of the inflorescence, the rest not sheathing.
Pedicel whitish, to 3.5 mm long; ovary 1.7–3.2 mm long, straight, furrowed.
Inflorescences several, erect, 1.5–3.5 cm long, densely up to 15-flowered.
Scale leaves up to 4 mm long, acute to ± rostrate, c. 6-nerved.
Petals 1.4–4 × 0.8–1.6 mm, elliptic to ovate, acute.
Column short, truncate, to 1 mm long.
Stem short, to 10 mm long.
